Colin, Part 2

Unknown Asp Scout, near Tewanta A 6 E - 3305-10-06 07:51, Galactic Standard Time Hiroko and Albert walked towards the primary bridge their head torches sweeping across the every surface and into every nook and cranny. Every sound on the ship got their attention, both acutely aware that it could be due to the little stowaway who left a bloody hand print in the FSD maintenance tube. They didn't know what it was, what its capabilities were, or how aggressive it was. That was way too many unknowns for Hiroko. After getting power back, she decided that she was going to dig into the ship logs to see if there was anything that could bring answers to her questions. They reached the door to the main flight deck and Hiroko started working on a power bypass for the door as Albert checked there was nothing down the ladder to the copilot's flight deck. Colin, Part 1

Near Tewanta A 6 E - 3305-10-12 06:11, Galactic Standard Time Lieutenant Jamie Hatch, system security force pilot, stifled a yawn and rolled his shoulders to loosen up a little. He had been sitting in the cockpit of his Viper Mk IV for a little over six hours. Together with Lieutenant Katie Benedict, he had been patrolling the trade routes and resource extraction sites in Tewanta. Their six hour shift should have ended ten minutes ago, but Katie had insisted that they check the routes between the resource extraction site in the rings of Tewanta A 6 and Wilson Port: a few miners had been attacked by pirates near that Class I gas giant recently. He grumbled a bit, but went along with it. It was what a cop that gave a damn ought to do. Once upon a time it would have been his natural instinct to do that, but twenty years as a system security pilot in backwater systems sapped the idealism out of him. He had had too many partners and

Tewanta A 7 A - 3305-09-30 21:12, Galactic Standard Time Captain Luciano entered orbital cruise around Tewanta A 7 A. He brought his Vulture around and began his descent to Cortes Base. His destination was ironic given the news he was delivering. His ship began its glide toward the surface installation. Out here the it was always pretty dark, but at this time the base was on the dark side of the moon. It was the smaller of the two installations that Official Tewanta Order controlled on this moon and housed medical and training facilities. In the distance he thought he could see faint lights. He activated the night vision overlay on his ship and the installation became a little clearer. There were no landing pads at this installation, no traffic control, and no exclusion zone. He brought his heavy fighter down to five hundred meters from the surface and wheeled it around over the installation looking for a place to land. The base wa
